The easiest care happens little and often:

Small marks are easy to handle if you act early:

• Gently blot fresh spills with a clean, dry cloth — don't rub.
• For dry marks, a soft suede brush or a suede eraser usually does the job.
• For a deeper clean, use a cleaner made specifically for sheepskin or suede, and always test a small hidden area first.
• Let everything dry naturally.

Avoid soaking your sheepskin or putting it in the washing machine unless the product care label clearly says it's safe.

• Wipe off excess moisture with a dry cloth.
• Let it dry naturally at room temperature, away from radiators, heaters and direct sunlight.
• Reshape it gently while damp so it keeps its form as it dries.

Direct heat is sheepskin's one real enemy — it can stiffen the leather and dull the wool. Patience keeps it soft.

When it's time to put your winter pairs away:

• Make sure they're clean and completely dry first.
• Store them in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight.
• Keep them in a breathable bag or box — not sealed plastic, which can trap moisture.
• A little tissue paper inside helps boots and slippers hold their shape.

Cared for well, genuine sheepskin only gets better with time — softer, more comfortable, more yours. That's the beauty of a natural material made properly: it's built to be worn, and built to last.
