Ethical Sourcing
We carefully select materials and prioritise suppliers who share our commitment to ethical practices. We source our sheepskin from a tannery which has the Silver LWG Certification. This certification proves that the tannery upholds high standards of quality, animal welfare, and employee rights and works in harmony with nature. Leather Working Group (LWG) is a not-for-profit membership organisation, working to create meaningful change across the global leather supply chain.
Responsible Manufacturing
We prioritise quality over quantity, ensuring that every Pegia product is made to last. Our skilled artisans employ meticulous craftsmanship techniques, focusing on durability and timeless design. By creating long-lasting footwear, we reduce the need for frequent replacements to minimise waste.
Conscious Material Choices
We strive to minimise our environmental footprint by selecting sustainable and eco-friendly materials. From utilising natural dyes to reducing chemical usage, we continuously explore innovative ways to make our production processes more sustainable.
Recycling & Upcycling
We actively support recycling and upcycling initiatives. Our packaging materials are selected with sustainability in mind and recycled and recyclable materials are used wherever possible. We encourage our customers to recycle or reuse our packaging and offer guidance on how to extend the life of our products. In addition, leftover leather pieces are upcycled into keyrings and gifted to customers with each purchase.

For every product purchased, we contribute to Eden Reforestation Projects to plant a tree in Madagascar.
